Will my cat actually use it?
Most do, though rarely on day one. Put it where the old bowl was and leave both out for a few days — cats accept new things on their own schedule. If yours doesn't inside 30 days, keep it and we'll refund you.
Is it suitable for dogs?
Small breeds, yes. A larger dog will empty 1.5L in a day, so this isn't the right fountain for them.
Is it noisy?
It's a whisper-quiet pump. One caveat true of every fountain ever made: keep the water above the minimum line. A pump running dry rattles.
How do I clean it?
It comes apart into separate pieces and rinses under the tap. Once a week is plenty.
Is 1.5L enough?
One cat, roughly a week. Two, a few days. Three or more and you'll be topping it up every couple of days.
How big is it?
6.3 × 4.3 inches on the counter, 4.7 inches tall. About a paperback lying flat. Light enough to lift and carry to the sink with one hand.
Does it need to stay plugged in?
Yes — it runs on USB, so any phone adapter, power bank or laptop port works. It draws very little: about two dollars a year at typical US rates.
What colour is the pump?
Black or white, depending on the batch. The tank is frosted so you may see it through the water. Both are identical inside.
How long is shipping?
10–15 days. We ship direct from our production partner with no warehouse in between, which is what keeps this at $29.95. Tracking arrives when it ships, and there are no import fees to pay on delivery.
What if it arrives damaged?
Email support@loafpet.com with a photo. We'll replace it. No return needed.
What's your returns policy?
30 days from delivery, full refund, and you keep the fountain. No return shipping, no forms, no photos — one email.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. United States only for now.
